Closing stores

Circuit City Stores are going to discount their merchandise before laying of four-thousand employees as they close their stores. Tony Roma's, Bennigan Restaurants, Linens and Things, Eckards on Sunset aka CVS, Jofferies, Bagel Shop, are a few businesses that have gone under over the last several months in my neighborhood.

Booming businesses in the area are Dollar Store, Burger King Dollar Menu, not for me, Starbucks always crowded but good coffee, Publix "gotta eat", J C Penny Home Store, New York Restaurant, Panera Bread, Cheesecake Factory, Old Navy, Container Store, and a few other stores in D.L. Mall.

Panera soup in sour dough bread, very good, especially the broccoli and cheddar. Hum.

It is sad to see some old standbys go under. Dad is interested in your sourdough soup bowl. He had Dungeness Crab in a sourdough bowl at Fisherman's Wharf in San Fran. He still talks about it.

Pandora Bread is located across the street from D.L. Mall on the corner towards the rear. We usually park in the Home Deport parking area and walk across the street.
