Body Guard at the Zoo, Body Guard at the house.

Last weekend, AT&T had a Union Picnic at the Metro Zoo which is why we have two different pictures of marmalade kitties. The Zoo is building a waterpark as part of their attraction events for the future. Visitors may rent buggy bicycles aka Safari Cycle Rentals if they which to peddle their way around the park rather than walk. The bikes may be rented for 2 or 4 people for $20.00 or $32.00 an hour. We decided to walk due to the price and the amount of time we had left in the day. The waterfall picture was taken at the entrance. M. asked me if I would like this for our backyard. Hum, this may be a bit over the top. ;)

The big kitty, with the stripes, probably eats more than the other two do, huh. Awww, Body Guard and (is it Buttons?) are so cute playing.

Its Mini-Me in the picture with Body Guard. She was smaller than Buttons when I first named her. Now it looks as if she may be taller than Buttons.

If all pictured cats were as up-close-and-personal as Mini-Me and Body Guard, I'd much MUCH rather see them with no bars in between, than the good buddy in the striped suit.

We had a bear in town last week for a couple of days, until Game & Fish tranq'ed him and sent him to live north of our area. Reading about him in the newspaper was as close as I need to get to wildlife, either feline or ursine!

01 Doc: A bear? What part of town? How far did they take him? Was he trespass/warned when he left? Oh, my goodness.

Wow, we can only guess the bear lost his since-of-direction. I wonder what the bear thought when he opened his eyes from his ride to the north portion of your area. Maybe food for the bear was difficult to find and the smell of home cooking drew him into town.

If a tiger showed up at your door begging for food. You would be putting more than just a little bowl of kitty food out the door. He would eat you out of the house. Either financially or literally you would be running, but not for long though.
