The picture of the two houses could be anywhere in the world. The tower with the arched window reminds me of Spain or the South of France. These are so beautiful.
What is the tower? Did you notice the little thingy sticking up from the top cente of the tile roof? Wonder what it's for... keeping the pidgeons from landing? Looks kind of like a tiny little palm tree if you squint....
The tower is part of the new bridge being built next to the old bridge. The old bride only has palm trees supporting the bottom structure support. The divers were very surprised when they saw the palm trees according to the local folks. The bridge is called "The Bridge of Lions".

A lightning rod? Lightning arrestor? The thing on the roof, I mean. Is there a glass ball in the hand of the little palm tree?
The tower looks as if there is a glass ball at the top.
