My red stapler is missing!

My office is moving from SMH to Interval's office which is located in the same block around the corner is almost, well almost…… not yet completed. We were in for a big surprise when we went to check on the progress of the office furniture move. The top cabinets which are located over our heads while sitting down key lock numbers did not match the lower drawer key lock numbers. What king of handy work is this? We are going to have to remove the desk drawers and match the numbers with the cabinets plus keys. Oh boy. We placed our names on each portion of our desks as requested by the office management. We just want to complete the move since we are sharing an office with another department and it is a bit crowed. The office employees of whom we are invading have been very nice to us; however, we are sure they want their office space back. Has anybody seen my red stapler? AKA Office Space, the move. Hopefully, we can complete our office move today so we won’t feel as if we are homeless office workers.

I don't have your stapler... mine is shiny chrome and nobody better get prints on it or I'll have it dusted and when I get your name, I'll staple your shoes to the floor! That's how possessive we'uns get.

Seriously... If there's a key in the lock, the overhead bin keys don't need to match the drawers below. Most times, you can just bang on the top edge and free the lock anyway. At least, ours you can. And this used to be a bank. How secure is that!!?

Can you not switch the overhead cabinets around, so that the locks match, while they are empty? Unless they are wall mounted.

I have your red stapler and the chrome one, too. I am the Night Rider of Staplers. The ones you have are naught but poor immitations of the genuine articles, which is why they sometimes jam ....

Night Rider of Staplers, PLEASE give me back what belongs to me. Red and chrome staplers, there will be a rescue attempt to bring you back home to my desk drawer.

We moved to our new office location yesterday with our supply boxes in hand. My computer was set up incorrectly and I couldn’t access the internet. LOL After my third attempt at different computer stations, I was able to access to the internet thirty minutes later. All the office staff movers and IT people has gone home before I arrived to work. This is a price I must pay for working the night shift.

No, Wait Zeta, that chrome stapler is mine, mine, mine! Don't stick it in the overhead bin. It will disappear into bin-infinity and never be seen again. Kind of like the Internet - You surf it one time and the next the network is down. Aaaargh!

Long ago, many items disappeared into binfinity and we didn't know what to make of it.

Now, we know where that is thanks to o1 doc. Oh, the profusion of colored plastic paper clips that must be there! And the pens, some with my name on them.

Binfinity. Who knew?
