Tests today.

My Steno Professor is going to give three different tests today. A little stress and all I have done is study, study, study, at least that is how it feels.

M. and I were at the Sunrise Balloon Race last year, and this picture was taken early in the morning. The mist is still floating in the air since the sun is rising slowly. We try to go every year if we can manage to get up early enough to arrive to the race on time. The prizes consist of a car, money or both which is awarded to the first person who lands closest on an X on the ground several miles away.

Flying in a balloon seems like a nice idea but I dought I will ever do it.

Yes, I agree. It is better to keep both feet on the ground. It is pretty nice to stand close to a balloon as it takes off and disappears.

How do they keep people from trucking in a duplicate balloon and draping it artfully across the X - then landing the original balloon in another county - in order to win? I guess there are observers at the X. Can you see the job description on a resume?

PREVIOUS JOB HELD: X Watcher.

LOL: Judge X Watcher. Some of the contestants have used the phrase “Hound Dog Race.” Each balloon has a driver and additional people to help pull the balloon in back of the pick-up truck once they land near the X.

What a view they must have from up there. It is a little "up close and personal" for me, also.

How did the test, test, test go?

The results of the test will be issued to the class on Monday. My instincts think I passed with an A or B. The tests consisted of steno yearly dates and figures.
