UM and a early morning fishing trip.

This was my first Friday evening I didn’t have to work in five years without requesting a vacation day. Last week was my first week of working my new shift change from nights to days. It felt great; however, I did take a $1.60 an hour pay cut from losing the night differential. Going from part-time to full-time gave me an increase in pay in the scheme of all this; I came out ahead financially . What to do Friday evening? Mark told me he felt like having an Italian dinner. Then we decided to drive to Big Cheese which is also known for posting famous UM memorabilia on their walls. The atmosphere was casual with the wonderful smells of garlic and pasta. The sunset was beautiful from our table with perfect 70 degree weather outside. Our waiter was funny, but he forgot to bring Marks glass back for a refill. He looked so shocked when he realized what he did. He was wondering if he blew his tip into the ground. Na, he didn’t.

A loud banging sound outside our house back window occurred at exactly 4:44 am. I thought to myself; this better be important to wake me up so early on a Saturday morning. When I looked outside, I saw my neighbor connecting his boat to his truck so he could go fishing. I wanted to ask him if he had to connect his boat to his trailer outside my bedroom window in order to see if this process would actually bring him better luck at catching fish. It was just thought and I went back to sleep.

Friday at 8: 45 or 9:45 p.m. is a really good time to go shopping. If you have the energy :D

Hope it was a good First Friday. You had wonderful weather for it. Yikes, five years. I hadn't realized it had been that long.

Friday mornings are good times to go to the beach. Really early - if say your neighbor hooks up his boat at 7AM? You can see the sunrise over the water! Or, you can sink his boat and wait for the body to wash ashore! I'm just sayin....

Sink his boat, yeah! I like that one better. Beach! Flip flops, sand, and water. If the temps were warmer, we could go!
