H20

This picture was taken at the Ft. Lauderdale Riverfront dining area. The draw-bridge paint color must have faded from the sun since the color didn't match anything else in the area. We ate a delicious meal at Briny's Seafood Restaurant as yachts left the river. A few of the restaurants hosts receptions and weddings.

Uncle T & I used to eat at a place on the river where you could get stone crabs - with garlic butter. Newspaper tablecloths and little wooden hammers to smash the shells to smithereens. What pleasant memories of butter dripping down the forearms.

It's hard to believe anyone could have painted that bridge pink on purpose?

What a beautiful place for lunch. My usual places have golden arches or a garish crown.

Although, there are advertisements tat there will be a Sports Grill where the latin restaurants were, next to the Hallmark at West Bird.

They do great wings . . . but no view.
