Bike ride to Deli Lane......

M. and I rode our bikes to Deli Lane to have breakfast on Saturday. The weather was perfect; however, I had a flat tire just a few blocks from the bike shop. Thank goodness the shop opens early which was great for us. Ten minutes later we were on our way to breakfast. A few of you will remember Dadeland Mall, and look what was built across the street over the past year.

Isn't JC Pen-nay (that famous French designer) just to the left of the curved road in the bottom picture? If not, I am lost which is not an unusual situation for me.

Fascinating shots. You and M look so fit and healthy, biking around.

Uncle T's Aunt Estelle used to live just across the little canal from Dadeland and could walk across a bridge to get to shopping. I guess, if she were there today, she'd have to walk way, WAY around, huh?

The bridge is still there and so are the condos. I'll take a picture of the bridge if we go bike riding this Saturday.

It's probably a good thing that we can't conveniently walk (or bike) from our home over to Nordstrom's Last Chance. I can resist the lure of Dadeland much better than I can LC. *grin*
