Oatmeal and wheat bread.

The Blue Jay stood on top of the hammock pole looking at me sitting near the window and yelled at me he was hungry. My oatmeal was hot so I knew it would be fine to feed the Blue Jay before I ate my breakfast. Next, I grabbed the bread and went outside to place the bread on the hammock pole where he was standing before he flew off. M. joined me for a cup of coffee and told me wow; he really does have you on a schedule. We think this is a male Blue Jay because of his large size. The top picture is the Blue Jay as he is bending over to eat the bread.

Oh, how adorable. He treats you like Mew does us. M is sooo observant!

I have never seen a bluejay yell at someone before. He seems like he would make as good a pet as one spoiled Red-front Amazon parrot we happen to know!

Looks like you all but adopted him. He'll have you out there again another day.

I saw the famous blue jay, live and in person, on Saturday. Most of the avian visitors are well fed and sleek. No wonder they wait around for Zeta.
