In the previous comments, I relayed that J said the caboose did not have Timken Roller Bearings.
Before Mr. Timken became extremely wealthy through inventing his roller bearings, the receptacle/reservoir behind the little doors, which are painted white on each wheel truck, had to be kept filled with oil by the mechanics. That's how J knew the caboose was old.
